The world is ending: prophecy, weaponry, and ecology. The human race is going to kill this planet whether it is from massive amounts of different types of pollution or nuclear destruction. With the increase of pollution humans are speeding up the process called global warming or the â€Å"greenhouse effect† which is â€Å"an increase in the earth's average atmospheric temperature that causes corresponding changes in climate† (Dictionary.com. Global warming is causing extreme changes in our weather patterns, from the massive string of tornados that ripped through the Midwest in 2011 to the surge of tsunamis in the Philippines just this past year.
